PLAYWRIGHT SAMUEL BERNSTEIN wrote the lyrics and book for Mr. Confidential, which premiered at the New York Musical Theatre Festival at the Alice Griffin Theatre at the Signature Center in 2014. Other theatre includes The Liquidation of Granny Peterman and the musical Bobby; as well as lyrics for songs in the stage musicals The Peddler and Magic Boys; and the The Middle Place. BOOKS: Uncommon Heroes (winner Stonewall Book Award from the American Library Association), Mr. Confidential (ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year finalist; winner Hermes Creative Platinum Award for Outstanding Non-Fiction), His most recent book is the non-fiction novel Lulu, which he is adapting into a screenplay. TELEVISION/FILM: Silent Lies, (premiered Montreal World Film Festival; multiple festival awards), Bobbie's Girl (Paramount/Showtime, Emmy nomination Bernadette Peters, G.L.A.A.D. nomination Best TV Movie, one of The Advocate's Top Ten Television Events of the Year), Judging Amy, Witch, Shimmer and Shine, Sally B., Kill Your Inner Child, and Icing on the Cake. He and husband Ronald own Babyhead Productions. They have been together since 1994 and are currently being held hostage by a brood of disbolical dachshunds. Samuel is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER MICHAEL ALDEN is a theater and film producer. Michael has served as a consultant, on advisory committees, and on the boards of many not-for-profit theater companies. His producing credits on stage include the 2015 Tony-Award Best Play nominee Disgraced, The King's Speech, Grey Gardens, Becoming Dr. Ruth, Bridge & Tunnel, and Bat Boy The Musical. Films include The Hours, Unzipped, Just Cause, Dark Horse, Mother, Mother, The Root, and The Zookeeper.
